Welcome to the Scream Lounge!
I’m Amber, the voice behind the screams. Horror movies have always been a part of my life (thanks mom!) and at first they were just a way to get my adrenaline pumping.
Scream (1996) was the movie that pulled me deeper into the genre and opened the door to my love of horror— not just as a viewer, but as a thinker. I started this podcast to break down what makes horror work, the scenes that live rent-free in our nightmares, the tropes we love and hate, and the brilliant (and sometimes wild) work behind the camera.
Each episode dives into the guts of the films— from cult classics to hidden gems to the blockbuster baddies— mixing film analysis, trivia, and fresh takes on the films we love (and hate).
